The entire bunch content of the 2019 J. Drouhin Musigny Grand Cru is 40%. It has a seductive scent of haunting delineation, with notes of very pure black fruit, truffle, and subtle Earl Grey. The black fruit is infused with undertones of allspice and clove on the palate, which is wonderfully balanced. A touch of dark chocolate appears toward the long, lingering finish, which fans out like a Musigny should. Effortless.
