It’s not a bad wine as there was clearly some pleasure to be found. There was a sense of refinement, but it lacked the depth, concentration and complexity expected from a First Growth . Served double blind, once its identity was revealed, clearly the wine looked and tasted much older than its true age. If you have some remaining in your cellar, I’d drink it sooner than later as the wine is only going to continue on the downhill course of life.
