Piper’s Rare vintage is an outstanding assemblage of the best fruit from the best of this old House’s famous tapestry of vineyards, a magisterial blend of Chardonnay (70%) and Pinot Noir ( 30%) sourced form seventeen different villages all rated either Grand or Premier Cru. Child of an exceptional vintage, this wine more than justifies Champagne’s reputation for longevity in its very best examples, of which this is undoubtedly one.
