Disgorged end of 2011. More mellow and complex on the nose than the 1996. Broad nose and then quite dry on the palate. Less juicy fruit. Just a little dusty and toasty on the palate. Lightly nutty. Even almost walnut skins – just a hint of astringency. But it’s still charming. Just has lost a bit of fruit in the last few years. A little more ‘relaxed’ than the 1996. Jancis Robinson
